HI guys, i have started adwords. I have gotten 170 clikes on my ads so far, but not any sales. what should i do? Give me suggestions. My site is www.glighthandicrafts.com
Pick out the one thing that sells best on your site and advertise that only. This way you get people looking to buy it.
Give us some details of your campaign. For example, what keywords are you using? And are those clicks from both the search and content networks? I would assume that your keywords are far too general and therefore not very targeted. Set up ad groups with keywords which relate to specific products or product categories, and have the ad group ads direct prospects to the products or product categories in question.
Nice joomla. My suggestion 1. Create a flash header and use your product's photos for animation 2. Your compaign must be targeted. 3. Search for related forum and ask for a review. 4. Try adbrite as well. 5. Add more photos. I notice that you just add one photo per product. Maybe you can consider create a pdf for each product as well.
Phrases I have used that may help if you have a hard to find product or reasonable prices... Avoid cheap imitations .... Tired of paying too much ... Smart shopping begins with real products at a real price. Sometimes adding fear or a sense of loss if not purchased now can encourage a sale. If you can do it offering a discount code should encourage a sale here and there. Good luck.
come on I think so many people, and also so many friends around here got the same problem. I also have a lot of clicks without any conversion, 0 Return on Investment now I think adwords investment, we may have to wait and keep patient until we learn a lot more and hopefully that we will success finally. Cheers,
you don't give many details, so it's tough to help out much, but here are some general guidelines: 1. do not just send users to your homepage - send them to a page that is designed to convert them 2. turn off advertising on the 'content network' (or, if you want to do it, do it as a separate campaign) 3. if you're looking to make direct sales, make sure the keywords you're advertising against indicate a 'hot prospect' - eg 'toaster' does not necessarily indicate someone wants to buy a toaster, whereas 'buy toaster today' definitely does. 4. include negative keywords to get rid of timewasters (if you're advertising toasters, you might want to set 'broken', 'information', 'manual' & the names of any manufacturers you don't sell as negative keywords)
