17 year old trying to make his way in in IM :)

Hello , my name is Gonzalo and I'm from Argentina, therefore my english is not the best, but there's always room for improvement.
IM started calling my attention when i saw lot's of people doing money with different methods like affiliate marketing and the likes, and i want to become one of them. I've read quite a while but i have stumbled across some problems. For example, i tried to make a blog in order to (in the long run) make a few dollares (expecting even pennies, because i know its hard) using adsense. But the problem is that i don't find any topic other than online gaming interesting enough, and i've read that gaming is really bad for an adsense niche.

I'm pretty sure that there are other niches which could interest me but i know little about keyword research and "niche finding" (is there a better term? ahaha) so i was wondering if you could help me in that. Also, is there a problem with using blogger for a noob adsense blog? i know many use wordpress but i have no money to begin with.

I'm sorry if im asking for help here instead of using another sections, but i got a bit dazzed with so many forums and subformus (google, adsense, blogs, affiliate marketing , etc)
