What the article does not say, is the fact that Google helps her a lot doing this. If you've ever searched for MySpace layouts on Google, you will see that, due tot the fact that it is a very broad search, Google suggests you niches, in the bottom of the page, such as premade myspace layouts, cute myspace layouts, myspace sports layouts, emo myspace layouts, myspace backgrounds, pimp myspace, myspace layout generator and....whateverlife.com

This is something I have observed some time ago since I intended myself to start a myspace layouts site and I asked why is Google suggesting this site? it must be sending tons of money to this site. And this story confirms it, right?

It is the same like with Jenny Dog Naming Service, people using AdSense knows what I speak about.

    I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous.

She's making a ton of money now, but there is no guarantee that will continue.

And besides, money isn't everything, going to school is great. You learn things, you meet people and form relationships.

I honestly don't think her future is as bright as many of you believe, but I wish her the best.

and who will fund the better search engine?
will anyone believe that someone can make it ?

How does one emulate her success anyway? Interested to know what I can do to monetise my MySpace profile. Any tutorials on how do I do that?

What she needs to do is make sure her money is taken care of by someone who knows what they are doing, such as a certified financial planner. With the money she has made, she could invest it and not have to work the rest of her life and still make close to six figures a year.

She obviously has some web design skills and proven experience, so if she wants to work for someone I'm sure she'll get a job even without a diploma. I'm not worrying about her future.

Ah no, its called realizing the value of a good education, instead of just knowing how to make money off the web.

High school is just the very basics. Most people I know have degrees; and they don't regret it, whether they use it in the job or not.

I guess it doesn't matter if you don't mind being pretty ignorant of everything except web marketing.

Why would you think she still needs a diploma?

    1. To be accepted for a job?
    2. To prove something for herself?

I think she won't be needing a diploma anymore now..

She's running a hugely successful business. I'm pretty sure she will learn more doing that than she would in college. She's going to be very rich, very soon. If she has a change of heart she can easily enrol in school later on, she wont ever be able to go back and make all this money from a website if she changed her mind later on having stayed in school.
