I wonder how she deal with AdSense.
Everybody knows how many Proxy and MySpace websites banned from AdSense. And she is getting more than $2k per day and she is not banned, even with exploit warning popping up on the homepage.

Why do myspace websites get banned so much? After reading about her success I was planning on making a myspace website as well :p

    I don't believe these stories.
70.000 from AdSense? That's a hell lot of traffic!

Having CEO of a company that has made you over a million on your resume is not bad :).

I know what you mean but Google is a very bad example to use. Websites crash when people forget about them, Google however is one of the strongest brand names on the planet with a huge number of assets. There is no way it would die "in a matter of seconds" any more than Coca Cola or another strong brand would. A MySpace resource site could though since it is dependant on another site which may change its rules or move in another direction. Still at $70k a month even if that happened I'm sure she could reinvest some of the money in adapting her site to keep up.

Of course you can learn anything online these days.
As long as you have the English language the rest is easy.

You don't need school to be successful. :)

What is so unusual about that? I believe school teaches you only, rest is on you. I know people making millions, if you look at their education background - they are school drop-outs.

Good for her - but dropping out of high school is pretty risky. The internet changes by leaps and bounds every year - this business model might go down the toilet in 2008 and it will be tough for her to go back to school...

Not the smartest approach, but I wish her the best...

She's already wealthy, if her business does go down next year I dont see how she has made a bad move dropping out. Her business has next to no expenses, if it goes down its not going to cost her anything, there isnt going to be any debts she cant pay and any money banked is still going to be hers. Good luck to her, I hope she continues to make a huge income from it :)

right...and when the money runs out how would she get a decent job without a high school diploma?

I'm not saying its impossible to be successful without graduating, it's just a lot harder. Think about all the child actors who made a pile of money before the age of 18, didn't graduate and are now doing nothing with their lives.

When the money runs out? She's earning close to a million dollars a year, and her finances are not even controlled by her yet as they are done via some court thing till she is an adult. She's obviously not wasting any of the cash. All she has to do is keep that site going another 12 months and she's pretty much set up for life, if she's careful. I think anyone in her position would have been crazy not to drop out of school.

I can't believe how many here support her dropping out of highschool.

There's more to life than a web business. Being uneducated is not going to work in her favor.

I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. If you can make 50,000 dollars a month on the web, who cares about a diploma? I really don't get people's fascinations with that stuff. I'm a college grad personally and I couldn't care less about my diploma. What do you use a diploma for? To get a job working for the man! That's all. Work for yourself.
