Stories like these are inspiring. Making the hardwork & sweat put into this seem worth it in the long run. Most people don't see results as fast as they'd like to but continued effort will eventually result in what you want as a webmaster.

I'm against dropping out of school no matter how much people earn..
I do think what she's doing is great.. the earlier people start working towards something the better. :)

I would of took the 1.5 million and walked away, you never know with myspace, maybe they'll put restrictions on their site in the future. Plus the interest off of 1.5 million would be like 90,000 a year. Its not 70,000 a month but its still good.

Thats pretty close minded of you.

School isn't for everyone, and in the latter years can just become a waste of time if the person wants to enter a Trade or expand the business.

Take this for example. Richard Branson didn't finish school. He flunked all subjects except Ancient History, so he just left early and expanded his first business (a magazine)....now he's a freakin' billionaire and he's happy.

The last years of school can be really important, but in other cases it's just not necessary. Leaving school early just gets a bad wrap because a lot of the people who have no intention to succeed in anything leave early.

First of all sorry if it offended you.. :)
I do agree that school isn't for everybody. I just think its a waste to drop out of school even if you have enough money to never have to work again.. people can become successful but its like they stop learning or trying to accomplish things after that. I personally would never drop out so I can't really understand why some people do.. doesn't mean they'll end up being unhappy if they do. :D

I personally wouldn't drop out either. It's nice to cover all the grounds you can and some stuff I like learning. Also if I were her I would of took the money because myspace may change especially with the big issue of child safety and security issues. They may end up having big restrictions.

    hi all

the thing with the internet , what is a fad today is gone the next. it is like google , how long would it take for google to crash , answer one sec. if google became totally unpopular it would die. as i heard investors in google could lose their money invested in google in a matter of a few seconds.

i wish all the best for the future

    cheers

    lol

Anything that becomes "totally unpopular" would die, but there has to be a reason for it, so I doubt Google will just become "totally unpopular". The only way I see Google having hard times is if a super amazing product comes out from another search engine, or they have like massive legal trouble. But even then Google has so much stuff on the web, I very much doubt they'll just die.
