Hi - New to the forum and reading through has been incredibly helpful and educational. I'm kind of a Twitter freak and recently purchased a bunch of domains related to Twitter dating. I know there may not be such a thing *yet* but I do believe that Twitter has a great meet and greet application to the service. I'n curious what the thoughts are on the best way to monetize. Is it better to package and sell to someone who knows how to do things with them? Would they collectively make a network that could be monetized? Anyway, thought I'd get some input as to what their collective value may be. Here are the domains: TWEET4LUV.COM TWEET4LOVE.COM TWITFORLOVE.COM TWIT4LUV.COM TWIT4LOVE.COM TWIT2MEET.COM TWIT2PLAY.COM TWIT4SEX.COM TWEETFORLOVE.COM TWITTOMEET.COM TWEETFORLUV.COM TWIT2FUCK.COM TWIT2DATE.COM TWEET2FUCK.COM TWEET2SCREW.COM TWIT2SCREW.COM TWEET2DATE.COM Thanks in advance for your assistance! Mitch
Interesting idea you had! No idea about the monetizing though... just had to say that. Didn't expect to see twitter dating ever mentioned
Thanks for the feedback! If Twitter can't make any money, not sure that I can either but for the registration fees it seemed like a gamble worth taking. My first idea was contests but EA bought/launched www.twit2win.com and www.tweetstakes.com was taken.
Nice forethought. If it goes in that direction you will be sitting pretty, which I don't see why it wouldn't. Maybe you can come up with an application of your own for them.
Thanks. Curious: Which is a better short term play...domain parking or building an affiliate page/network? If parking, can someone recommend a good service? I've seen Sedo and RevenueDirect. Reputable?
I've started adding content to the page and have gottent some affiliate links from CJ. 2 Questions: 1) Is the inherent worth in the domain name itself or in trying to get search ranking and traffic? 2) All of the URLs redirect to a twit4love.blogger.com. I use the blog address for google analytics. I assume I should do it this way and not track the domain right? Thanks!
