WTF i never get too much low click rate, i get good traffic on my one fruit's blog and i get average clicks and my CTR on this blog is between 2% to 4% and click rate was also good, some time 0.10$ and some time 0.70$ But today i opend my adsense and i shocked because it was showing in my channel that i got 17 clicks and 0.21$ on my fruit's blog. What is it and how it can be??? My CTR was 20% this time now... so please let me know what i have to do now ? Guide me Jesi
They might've been practically worthless clicks. It happens. Not always your site's fault - same person might've clicked 17 ads, low paying defaults, etc.
It could be that the advertisers are not paying as much for ads anymore. With so many changes in different economies, it's highly possible.
Past few days have been like this for me, too.. On a fairly well paying site, 8 clicks = $0.12... Great.
That's called as "smart pricing" in technical terms. To get rid of being smart priced, use competitive ad filters to filter ads that you think pays pennies
Keep an eye out to make sure you're not smart prices. If this continues for the next few days I'd start to be concerned then
You have major duplicate content on that blog. Maybe they noticed and decided to reward you for the duplicate content.
I got the same types of click a few weeks ago. If that is not the case then, it could be some invalid clicks and they don't really count.
On one of my websites, One day i had 32 clicks and $10.88 another day i had 36 clicks and 4.67$ and another day i had 22 clicks and 8.78$ One has to understand, that the clicks on adsense are based on bidding, so a particular day the cpc may be higher due to competition and on another day there may be no campaigns for that keyword except one bidder, then in that case the bidding goes to the lowest bid amount and that can be pennies, so there is nothing to worry about, this is how the system works Also a lot depends on which search results pages your website ranks for the same keyword, if it appears quite often in high serp pages, then the highest bidding ads automatically gets served on your pages-well this is from my own experience and theory, i know many of my counterparts here may disagree, my two cents............This is obvious because it goes by the principles that when one bidder has bid for a keyword and your page appears in higher search engine results pages for the exact same keywords, then the relevancy factor increases as adsense bot identifies that this is the page that the ad was looking for and searcher has reached there through that keyword the advertiser who has bid highest was looking for that particular page and the ad gets served...i think i make some sense now
thx for that tip... might have to do that Today hasnt been that bad (i guess) as i got about 13 clicks with 600 impressions for a grand total of $3.80. I checked what was getting clicked and it was ad units where i noticed that a new (movie trailer was being advertised) which i assume is what was getting clicks. (but will have to wait till the day is over to confirm the actual amount and the stats) thx M1
I think it was probably invalid clicks... someone probably just clicked too many times. I've had people click like 100 times on my ads before for no reason.
i came today to post about my clicks and i saw you i got 17 clicks and made $20+ dollars thats insane i just put adsense on my blog like 3 days now so i have clearly been giving away money my blog is in my signature i blog about credit so i guess its all high priced click
