A lot of people join AdSense everyday in hopes of becoming the next internet millionaires. What a joke, right? I just made myself laugh. Here's the deal, folks. Making money with AdSense is EASY. I'm not going to say it's hard, because it's not. At the same time, it takes time, knowledge, and a plan, to build online success. Time - People who think they can spend 10 minutes blogging on a daily basis, and become the next internet millionaire, are out of their minds. For most who are starting out, or maybe even making a few dollars or a few hundred dollars a month, it takes a lot more than 10 minutes of daily blogging to make that kind of money. On average, I spend about 3 hours a day on my blogs. I make $500.00 per month, but because of what I know now, that money will begin to snowball. [My earnings didn't snowball before, because I spent all of my time writing news articles, which only got traffic for a short amount of time, opposed to something GREEN like Fitness, for example... I'll explain more below...] Knowledge - You can put all of your efforts into writing a million posts a day, but it won't do you any good if your blog isn't Search Engine Optimized properly. SEO isn't difficult, folks. Hint: Look at HTML code of Matt Cutts Blog to see proper use of heading and title tags. Hint2: Tags are different on homepage than they are on article pages. There's more to SEO than tags, but the above hints will get you started. Once you know SEO, you're ready to move to the next step. Plan - I spend 30 minutes a day writing on my already-developed acne site, 30 minutes a day writing news, 1:30 minutes a day niche marketing, and another 30 minutes a day on Social Spark, and I understand what each minute means to my future development in terms of being able to make more money in the long run. Acne - Will always be around. It's an article website with high quality info. The more articles I write, the more my income snowballs, and the less I have to do in the future. News - No future money really, but more of a "I want money now" sort of deal. Won't snowball, but still worth spending a good 30 minutes on every day. Niche Marketing - Great for high CTR and conversions. The more specific, the better. Snowball effect will take place, the more sites I develop. Great for long run. Worth every minute. Social Spark - No future money involved. Again, it's a good little bonus at the end of the month. Snowball Effect - The beauty of blogging is in the snowball effect. If you're writing a blog for something green (that will always be around) eventually, your $$ will begin to snowball. You wrote 300 articles in year #1 and made $1,000 You wrote 300 articles in year #2 and made $2,000 As you can see, you wrote the same amount of articles each year, but your money doubled in year #2. And that's the beauty of blogging GREEN, you'll always make money for articles or work you did, even if you wrote them a year ago. Thus, the snowball effect takes place. This is Common Sense Blogging - It truly is, folks. Blogging if for people who are in it for the LONG RUN. It's like a cheap investment that can PAY OFF BIG. Put a little time in on a daily basis, watch your earnings snowball, and by the time you're 50, you can retire, and just watch the money flow. what do you think? peace out peeps.
Good points. I agree with them. Blogging is for people who have patience and can put persistent hard work.
Really good and motivational article. I am really into your points and have developed my habbit of dedicating more than hours each day on my blog. It is starting of my first blog so i am not letting any stone unturned.
I would add to try to involve your readership in inputting content for you, like comments on a blog or questions of their own. For that, make it easy for them to see where they have to go to input content, and at the end of all your blog post or articles, always involve the reader by asking him a question or his opinion/experience on the topic.
Good call. Comments are helpful in so many ways. They can even help your post / article rank for good keywords that it wouldn't have otherwise ranked for. Comments are great!
Great post. I've read many of your post and you always offer good tips. Keep it up and thanks alot. I'm surprised you don't have a link in your sig to a blog or something.
Thanks, man. While some people are on here to promote their blog, I'm simply on here to give advice. That's why I don't ever really link to, or show my blogs in my signature. Some people do it for the backlink, which is fine. But I have seen a few posts on here where people make you view their blog to read the rest. Lol. It's annoying, and those people probably aren't making much money if they have to post here to get traffic to their website.
Well said. That's what made great blogs like ubergizmo.com or connectedinternet.co.uk. If you take the easy route and use autobloggers or crap content generators, you will earn ZERO. And even get banned for splogging. Makes me wonder why people even spend $299 on such scam software
Good point and i think you have really Good knowledge of SEO, CAN you help me in seo if possible then please
