16000 views yesterday and only $0.84. Help?

So my blog is http://lebasketbawl.blogspot.com and I've been linked up twice this week to Sports Illustrated's Hot Clicks: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/extramustard/02/22/hotclicks.0222/index.html

So it brought me a ton of traffic and I made pretty much nothing...any suggestions? I'm completely new to this and have only been up for 2 months...

A couple of suggestions:
- lose the donate button - no-one will!
- try putting some AdSense units in the sidebar/between posts (use the Blogger AdSense widget).
- try using an AdBrite banner and inlines too - should earn you more.

I can't almost see any ads. Work on you ad placement.

 

yup, I barely could see any ads. Try puttin a Large Rectangle Ad [considered to be the best] at the top of your blog[the logo just slows the loading down], and in between posts[get rid of those tiny ads]. Also put a scyscraper ad on the left side and push those links further down below the ad.
With the traffic you have, this should do the job

Put ads on left sidebar and between posts. Try using text and image ads.
