    Hello all!

I just signed up with Google Adwords --- and picked 75 keywords

16 of them are "Inactive for search" --- but I do not know why

I set my maximum monthly spending to $1,000..... and my maximum click cost to $1.00..... however, the "default CPC" is at .20, which is blocking 16 keywords ---- does anyone know how to raise that .20???

So far, I have recieved 2 clicks..... 1 cost $.05.... the other cost me $.10 (and I do not know why)

    Thanks!!!!!

    Dino

    Hi Dino,

Those inactive keywords cost more than $1.00 per click, so you have to raise your minimum CPC for those words. That is, if you still want to bid on them for that price? You could also try to select some other words or phrases.

It's not just about how much you bid, your keywords have to be relevant to what you are advertising....
Also separate keywords into different adgroups, so they are grouped as tight as possible.

If your minimum CPC is above $1 google is slapping that keyword. Meaning, google does not thing your website is good enough or relevant to the search term.
