15K+ visits yet few earnings

    Hi, I'm a bit confused on how adsense works. I'm just wondering why my earnings were only at $8 even after a got a whooping 15K visits for that day.

    Adsense earning = Traffic(impression) X CTR X CPC
    If any of the are zero, you get zero
    assume your CTR is 1.5%, 225 clicks and $8. That's normal

    better placements give you better clicks work on your placements.

    from search engines and social bookmarks. Unfortunately, I think I got de-indexed by google, so my traffic now is mostly coming from social sites

    So the earning is really about the clicks on the ads? Less clicks, even though many visits, is useless.
