Well, first of all let me say i'm mega noob! I'm a translator of a famous plugin for MSN and WL Messenger, and the creator of the plugin gave us translators, for each language page, a space to put an ad. Everybody chose AdSense, i think. The question is, my knowledge about AdSense was and is minimum. I did know the basics, so i created an account, and sent the javascript code. This was in November, i think. Then i didn't pay much attention to it. I received a mail from Google, with my PIN, but i guessed that was normal, so i didn't even activate the account. This weekend, the creator of the plugin told us to put some pages in the filter ( in this case, smileycentral and sweetim ). So, because of this, i logged in my account, and noticed that i had $1250 dollars waiting to be sent. I was like "Uau!". I've been making $13/day. It's quite good, considering i didn't know about it at all. I thought i had like $10 for all time. This just to tell you that, since yesterday, when i filtered those websites, my daily income decreased drastically. Today, it only get as far as $6, with 14.186 impressions so far, and 92 clicks. So, what do you think? Maybe banning the current ad, that is almost everytime the same now, would work on this? Or is this value good enough? I guessed that the ad alone did so much money, that maybe i could do something to increase the profits. There's just one tiny ( or maybe not ) problem. I don't have real access to the content of the page. I can translate it, and link to another pages, but that's about it. So, i just have 100% liberty to mess with the AdSense account itself. I'm guessing changing some filters and channels would do something? By the way, the page is www.msgpluslive.com.br, but i think you will be redirected for your own language. Sorry but i dunno much about wat you are talking, but the site is an amazing piece of work, no doubt u're earning so much from it. From logo to color combination, simple n elegant layout. Now that site would certainly get more WOWs than vista.
What i want to know is simple. After filtering those two sites ( smileycentral and freeim ), my earnings drop more than 100% per day. So, what i really want to know is how can i earn the same ammount again, with those two sites filtered.
Since ur site talks about IMs n all, those two ads really formed a good combo with ur site although they are quite irritating for a little reasonable person. Identify the most clicked sections of the page and try to merge ads with ur page, these ads should really blend in with the theme and layout of ur page. So that it becomes hard for a regular user to find out the difference (in a little straight forward manner) and doesnt irritate the flow of the eye over the page. Dont go overboard with this as this might violate the TOS and might be u banned. Law of stock market, higher the risk greater the returns.
How much you earn depends alot on what kind of ads are been shown.There will always be publishers who are paying 5 cent per click and you might be getting only half of it. Unfortunately since you have no control over the content of the site you can't do anything. But why you add filters(you mead adsense filters,rgiht) ? let google decide what ads to show as the more you make, the more google will make and vice versa.
I would go back doing to whatever you were doing to make $13 per day because of course its more money, but also because it offers you a better start off point to increase yoru earnings to 15,20,50 dollars per day.
It decreased by 50%. 100% would mean you weren't getting any money. Sorry for the nitpicking -- I couldn't help myself.
