Ok, Time for a little update. I'm working on a lot right now. I was aked to make changes on I game I nearly finished before, and am getting $3,500 for that. Not sure if I should count it since I made most of the game before, and am just making changes and getting payed now.
I'm working on a couple new games too. One is going to get sponsored (It should be done soon, but I'm worried that I wont be able to find a sponsor by the end of the first week) Im also 99% done with a small game to promote my site (Which isnt open yet because Im trying to find good CPM ads for a game site) This wont get me direct money, but hopefully will promote the site enough that I can make some off of it. Im also having in game ads (that have REDICULOUSLY low rates since theyre CPM and a lot of games get as many as 1,000,000 views, and Id still make money if its on other sites.

Ok, getting a form for the $3,500 tomorrow, and Im still not sure if I should count that towards my $15,000 goal. My other games are going good though. I'm in a rush to finish 15 levels of a game by Thursday. Hope I can make it
Im still having trouble finding good CPM ads for a game site. Any suggestions? Im ready to start promoting it once I get some good ads.

Good luck! I'd also recommend what others have suggested and include affiliate products that you can promote - like Amazon.com, for one. You can use StumbleUpon and especially article marketing to build it up, and for people that visit your page some of them might buy something. I wish you the best!

 

Thanks, I got the 3500 today. Part was spent on the guy who helped find the sponsor ($350) and paypal took out about $90 in fees so I got $3,060. Another game is getting close to done too, and I'm hoping to get at least 1000 for it. I need to get an average of 600 a week to make my goal, so I think I'm doing OK

By the time Cameron was 17, he was the Keynote Speaker with Michael Dell at the Youth International Technology Summit. Heres a screen shot of my Paypal. The -500 was putting $500 into my banking account (Thats all I had in my paypal before, since I normally just put the money in by bank account, so my total ammount in paypal is equal to what Ive earned so far)


As for next week I have some projects planned. I really need to work faster on a project I'm working on, but either way, I'm hoping for at least $1,000 next week. Won't be as much as last, but is still deffinatly a good week.

Ok, its Friday, so time for an update..

Week 2:
Didn't make much at ALL this week, but I have a very good reason. My game site opened (http://www.gamestergames.com) and Ive been advertising it. I did make a game this week and submitted it on he net (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/414472), but it was to advertise my game site. I think the site doing GREAT, because its the 3rd day its open and has gotten about 9,000 (!!!) pageviews TODAY (and the day isnt over yet)! I'm very excited and am working on another game for the site again. Im trying to work on this website a lot and hopefully profit well off of it.
ALSO, I have about 15 pages in my ebook. I havent worked on it the last couple of days because I was busy with the site, but I hope to make some money with that.
