How many users do you think you can bring in? What marketing plans do you have? Will it be for specific people (for example, fishers, or another niche?)

Social networking sites that are for general people rather than aimed at a specific audience will fail miserably unless they have thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of dollars to spend on advertising, purely because of the giants such as Myspace and Facebook.

I would say completely take Social Networking off the list unless you have some crazy idea that will revolutionise the internet... it just isn't worth it.

Put the $1500 into a deposit account.

Start doing whatever it is you would have done with the $1500, but without it now. So if you wanted to get into a social networking site, open one up. THere are free scripts out there. Stick at it for 6 months. AFter those 6 months if you really think that the $1500 would make a difference then invest it in your site. If you don't think it would, at least you have $1500 plus interest in cash.

Social networking in the UK would be a good sucess imo. However you'd need alot more funds to get as big as some networking sites

    Honestly speaking,none of it.
You can't start those of the listed business with 1.5k.
If you have $10k then you can thought about starting a new business
