Hello everyone, I'm launching a new website http://bit.ly/qDXZLu I have a budget of $1500 for marketing but don't know where to start. adwords and facebook ads seems to be expensive for me. your suggestions will be much appreciated.
Thats a tough one to market. I would plan on spending a large chunk of the budget to pay people to use it. A community type of thing like that is useless unless people are using it. And spending infinite $ on adwords or any other type of marketing will be useless if people click through and feel like they are in a ghost town.
are you experienced in Internet marketing? then i think you have to hire some people who can assist you in Free marketing. you will pay them and get benefit. its only possible if you are experienced in Online marketing. otherwise go for Adwords. thanks
Let me get this straight, you are telling him if he is inexperienced with in internet marketing to hire someone or go for adwords? Sounds like you're inexperienced. Adwords is the easiest for an inexperienced person to get their bank account raped.
now you guys are scaring me, I need some help here, how can I spend those $1500? how much should I pay for a marketing guy if I hired him and what is he going to do?
hi, well first of all your SEO is not completed (in my opinion you have done nothing about it) so no matter you will do now, it will do nothing. So in my opinion you should first get a well done SEO (onsite/offsite) after that there are some cheaper ways to advert your website. I agree that adsense and FB are charging you way to much money for what they can deliver at the end of the day. but still there are some other ways to get traffic (quality traffic as well) and at the end users, sales and better rankings within google, alexa etc. I could help you with the seo as well as with the traffic and if you are interested just give me a buzz or send an msg to carasoft on skype. Cheers, Radu
SEO has not been done because the website has not launched yet lol do you have a portfolio website? what services do you offer?
i guess because at the end of the day you want to spend less money and get more free traffic... Make sense dont you think? Cheers
i think 1500 is waaaaaayyyyyyyy tooooo much man....people lanuch websites and get to the top of google without even spending quarter of that....you can spend 1500 if you where tryna promote like 5 to 10 website..you need to make a priority list..anyway it all depends on what exactly ur tyna target..spend the money wisely..wish u all the best
forget spending money. I would talk it up as a backlink source in various communities. I think with some elbow grease (community/forum marketing) you can effectively launch this for $100. Offer a fiverr service adding posts with backlinks.
I would go with the paying people to use the site idea. Set up a system where they get paid so much for referring people to the site, the more people they refer the more people using your site. Your money will go way further this way then regular advertising.
Understand your product and study what competitor's are doing, you can still smartly use you $1,500. Do some research on where are your maximum potential customers are, on social networks or youtube or mobile or generic web users. Then target accordingly.
You could try Adwords, would have to fine tune your settings to find what is profitable, and when you find it, set up sites targetting those keywords
I think the best thing for you is to pay for succesful registrations. You will reduce the risk of spending money on worthless clicks/impressions. Only pay for action. Now you schould think how much a user is worth for you, what country they are from etc. Also you schould make a good landing page that gives a clear view of what your service is about and why they schould sign up. Also a great thing to do is add a contest to it. User that makes X posts has a chance to win Y. If you need more help. I'm willing to help. PM me!
If you want to loose $1500 then you are most welcome in using adwords and facebook for marketing.Man just do some solid seo for your site and other free marketing techniques.
