    In this previous thread I held a contest and chose Strongfish as the winner. Before I put that logo on my website I want to make sure I'm putting up the absolute best logo that I've seen for my site. Therefore I'm holding another contest.

    If you create the best logo, I'll pay $150. This contest will end on Monday. The site is in my signature. I'm looking to replace the logo itself, not the entire header. Remember to create the logo with the thought of what my site is about. It's a men's online magazine that talks about cars, tech toys, sex tips, women, investing, etc. Pretty much anything that men are interested in. In other words, I won't be accepting any pink logos with bunnies. :)

    I have chosen a more iconic and versatile approach to the trendspike identity. I have incorporated a blend of modern and contemporary type (Helvetica and an amazing Emigre typeface) with a strong, geometric shape.

    The resulting mark is _the_ trendspike itself, and can be used as such. The color should be bold and masculine (red shown here) and can overlay any image and can be incorporated into any media.

    The trendspike triangle itself can be used alone to call out information. Doing so reinforces your visual brand through consistency and will hold your entire site together.
