My company is in need of a new logo for a web application that we are releasing. Below are all the details needed for you guys to get the ball rolling... Details: The name of the application is "Social Spiral." The application allows users to manage their social network tasks through one easy interface. The entire project is very "web 2.0" and so should be the logo. Below are possible colors you should be working with: The colors above are not exact to what we need, so you can use a play on the colors to better suit your design. We are looking for a mix of fun, poppy, professional, sleak, clean, etc. There should be some sort of element that represents a "spiral," but it does not need to be literate. Winner/Payment: Winner will be awarded $150 through paypal. Payment will be sent upon the completion of contest, and announcing of the winner. Design must be sent in AI and/or EPS files. If you need more direction, don't hesitate to ask. We will be following the thread to make comments on submitted designs that we feel have a good chance of winning. Good luck guys!
Can you post at least the top of your website ? To understand how is the header placed and what colors are accented and so on. I know I don't have to design header, but logo, but still - logo is going to be in header, so unless you want me(us) to design black&white. Thank you.
Below is a mock up of what the site may look like. We haven't gone in a specific direction with the site, so it doesn't need to reflect this design. Hopefully this can help you to get going...
here are my entries(I think you'll love these!)- putting the logo in top left corner would be apt, but I wanted to show how well the colours fit! also I made the spiral a little unconventional( unconventional design always catches the eye!) I'll submit more ideas for the logo!!
A bit of creative touch (the dot over ' i ' can be made in different color). lol typo error in the logo (i've changed it in original!)
PSD is non scalable. Logo needs to be structured for more than just web graphics... this is a standard practice
