Are you that pathetic? First of all, I'm male. Secondly, I don't need ideas, because I don't have a website anymore, that's the reason the contest has ended, I have no use for a logo. Secondly, even if I did have a website I still would have had to end the contest without a winner because none of the entries came close to what I wanted. Either way, I haven't cheated you out of anything, there's nothing suspicious and I don't deserve a negative iTrader or a bad reputation, I've reported this to an Administrator because quite frankly I've done nothing wrong. Grow up.
Well, if I haven't done anything wrong people shouldn't have a problem designing anything for me, however I probably won't even ask for anything again. There's no need to continue posting in this topic, the contest is over and this is basically spam.
So, Lustre got negative iTrader feedback for holding this no winner contest. Wasted so much of designer's valuable time. Lustre started his postings here as designer and started a Contest for asking a Logo for his website.
It's not a 'no winner contest', it's a contest that ended up not having a winner because the website was closed and none of the designs were good enough, that's not against the rules, it's perfectly fine. And are you blind? I did ask for no one to reply to the topic, there's no need. The person who gave me the negative iTrader was in the wrong has been reported.
Lol, first check your eyes for blindness. I can see there are good logo designs in this thread but you could not choose a winner. The person who gave you the negative iTrader is absolutely at right point.
If you don't want anymore posts, lock the thread and that takes care of it. And with all due respect, I believe that you, as a designer yourself, can surely understand how it feels when a contest goes like this, for X, Y and or Z reasons.
So because in MY contest I didn't like ANY of the logos and I chose not to choose a winner because of that (and because the website closed) I deserve a negative iTrader? Sure, that makes sense.
The first time I found this thread, I knew something is not feasible hence my non-participation (not counting the title of the project "Blind Talent" which connotes deception. I saw you join miniscule $10-20 design contest along with us, you are selling your losing template for $20 usd posted in your sig, and that vivid 0 itrader vote tells it all. The $150 prize for a LOGO only is totally inconceivable when you are also after some quick small bucks with us joining other design contests. You might be better off to have offered this at Sitepoint (if it was real) -- you could have spared the hardworking guys here from doing a lot for nothing. Goodluck. We know better now.
In all honesty, you can't say that you provided proper feedback to all (or most) entries. In your first post you indicated you wanted something simple like the tutorial site, http://tutorial-center.com/, and it is in essence what the designs reflected. Later on you say you are just looking for something better than what you can do ...... . (Which can be interpreted as every entry was subpar to your skillset). And then POW!, no winner chosen. No reason, just no winner. It does leave a bad flavor in the mouths of those that gave you their time and put forth an effort for your project. And it is worse when it comes from a fellow designer. And once feedback is being posted about how you have handled it, then you are not doing the website any longer....(?). Surely you must see how this comes across.....no? You have your reasons, but you cannot make people not express how they feel about how the contest was handled. Do you deserve a neg i-trader? I suppose it depends on each individuals perception of the transaction, or lack there-of.
the funniest thing is if I want to compare the tutorial center's logo to some entries here I give 6/10 for the tutorial center's logo and 8/10 or 9/10 even 10/10 for some entries here... anyway everyone build his own history here, and everything is counted .... Regards Alex
i am one of the designer on his thread. lolx but actually when i visiting blindtalent.com it's page error. the first comes from my mind, he just asking different title for we do not see his page. and it's ok with me. i saw him joining a contest. so why did you asking a logo for $150 eh you're a designer also? obviously you are getting ideas you are offering a high price just to see many many awesome works, and catch their ideas. this thread is very popular hahah! Be thankful i don't know how to give you a negative.
