$150 Header contest

I own the site www.ofear.com. It's a Phobia support site and forum.

I'm after a new header and template for my site. I would like to start of by finding a suitable candidate by holding this header competition. The winner will then complete the template and get $100.

My current header was designed by a friend who isn't a professional and I'm looking for a design that is very similar to my existing one but very professional, high quality and a glossy look. I want the layout, size, fonts and colours to be left the same but give it the professional feel.

    Thanks in advance

    John

Ok maybe it's the coding that is putting people off so it's now $100 for the header and new template. The winner of the header contest will then go onto create the template and get $100.

    Thanks

No coding now. Header only but who wins the header contest goes onto design the template as well and gets $100 for the both.

    Thanks for your entry Lethal7

I really need to have the same font as my existing header and style etc as stated in the original post because I already have merchandise with it on so please try and keep it as similar as possible but looking professional and glossy. It also looked very empty with all the writing in the middle.

    Thanks though :)

The font is Alba super for Ofear.com and century gothic for the rest.

I must stress how much I want it similar to the original in everyway but with the professional glossy feel. Colours, layout and style have to stay please :)

    Thanks

So far I'm liking dimitri123 entry (the top one) Only suggestions I have are making "Never Fear" and "Phobia Forum" in century gothic and lose the half grey colour in the letters. I liked the shadow you had beneath the letters in the header you pm'ed me so if you could put that it that would be great.

anidesign - It's too bright for me and I'm not really liking white letters but thanks for your entry.

GWK - I know I want it very similar but I'm really not seeing any differences that show it's professional but thanks for the entry.

lilc09 - I'm liking the colours you used but would like the letters in Ofear.com toned down just a little maybe.

Please see the comments and entry dmitri has done to understand what I'm liking so far and maybe you can better that.

    Thanks guys :)

I can't find a color combination for the OFear part that really stands out to me. If you can think of any, please do tell and I will be glad to fix :0

Question: Can we just create the header without going into the "template" part.
I think this is what thetop1 is trying to say. I'm no good with templates.

    Hi Ellen,

I'm liking this very very much. The Ofear.com is glossy just how I want.

I will review all of them as soon as I can.

    Thanks
