Just wanting to give everyone an update on where we are currently standing. I'm amazed at the different routes everyone has taken with this; you guys are awesome! I have received 3 entries so far that I do really like. New entries are definitely still welcome and would have a shot at being chosen if they are what I am looking for.

The 3 entries that are currently in the lead were all submitted by PM, and these are the designers in no particular order:

ideosmil & dante777- These revisions have improved so much! I think they are both SO pretty; however, I think the PM entries that I mentioned above are still closest to what I am looking for.

goesmoeh- Thank you for entering! Your design is really cool and creative, but it doesn't match my aesthetic at all.

I will have to ask the designers if they are okay with that first. I noticed some people on this forum say that PM entries are partly due to designers not wanting their designs copied. If they say it's okay, I will post them.

 

suke- It's looking like the top designers are not into the idea of their designs being public. Two out of three have declined after some consideration, and I am awaiting a response from the 3rd. To be honest, I think at this point it may be kind of tough to top the entries that I have unless someone turns in something amazing that needs little revision. I'm still open to new entries as I have the promised deadline of Saturday at midnight, just keep in mind it would probably take quite a bit of work to compete as these 3 designers have put a lot of time into their designs.

Ahh there we go! Thanks for making another attempt, but I think it's missing the element of extra details that I was hoping for. I still do really like that font, but I don't think the bird is "me". The top designs that I have all made at least 2 revisions from a foundation that matched my style, so I'm not sure there's enough time now for you to revise this design enough to be at the level that they are at, as I will be going to sleep soon and checking out any last minute entries in the morning. Thank you again for the work- much appreciated!

I can't thank you all enough for your hard work. I wish I could afford to give everyone something for their designs, but unfortunately I can't.

The winning design belongs to jeremiahgoogly! His design was so different than I had imagined (in a good way), but it's gorgeous and it fits the mood I want to portray with my photos. If you guys are interested in seeing the winning design, I will be putting it up on my website ASAP so you can see it there in the next day or so (the link is available in my original posting).
