Yes but you could at least say HEY, WHY DO YOU COPY MY STYLE? And than its up to the CH how fair he wants to be to judge the work was stollen or not. And it depends on CH if he wants to deal with either a scammer just bc he likes his final work. But if someone did it secretely via PM how could you react? And to this: I support design_nikki in her decision to PM a design for fear of others assimilating her design into theirs. If you saw the design, which U cant until it appears on the real site, only then you could only judge if it was or was not "inspired" by any design shown off here publicly. And this is the point!
Yeah this happens alot someone will post a design and the contest holder will say they like that certain design and everyone copies it. In fact I am holding a logo design contest right now and someone just did that.
I am totally agreed with CGdesigns comment because it happen with me many times, At first i always use to make the entry in thread , but what i see few designer just get the idea, make some minor change and submit the design. which is not fair. Lejka: As per your reply , if we start arguing with other designer for copying the work, in the thread ,CH get frustrated and they might end the contest without any winner! That's why i decided to make the entry via PM.
Well I'd like to thank all of you that posted your designs publicly (although in all honesty I haven't really looked them over yet I will), and If I see anything I like I'll make an offer by PM. AJ this is NOT unique content, and it's not intended for SEO. Again, this content is strictly intended for networking and relationship marketing. If all you're doing is setting up a tax mill I have nothing you need. If, on the other hand, your client is a full service accounting firm the content package is absolutely necessary because "Big Fish" (smart, savvy, successful business people) don't find their accountants by looking them up on search engines. The only way to land these types of clients is by engaging in network and relationship marketing. It won't hurt your SEO (there's no internal duplication) but with the exception of the blog option it won't help it either. The CMS, however, is designed to be SEO freindly. While, by default, the sites are templated the CMS does allow individual pages (including each page's meta tags of course; I'm really not out to waste your time) to be added and modified. If you do intend to troll for big fish you should consider setting the site up right in the CMS. I guess the easiest way to demonstrate it would be to set you up with an account. If you're really interested PM me and I'll have one of my guys call you about setting up a couple months free trial. This will give you a chance to poke around in the systems guts and see if it's something you're interested in.
