    Hello,

I saw many time this offer :

You will get 150,000 or more unique real visitors to your website if you pay a sum of money to X . How could this be ? I mean.. I cannot imagine X bringind those thousands unique visitors to your website ...

Is the system something like stumble upon ? or are those proxies ? or what ?
It is not the first time I saw this offer. Even on this forum I saw somethig like that this morning.

Can someone please explain to me how could this be possible ?
I know cases when Google publishers ( Adsense ) got banned after they paid for this kind of traffic.

By the way: let's say that traffic is real ( thousands of humans will jump on your website ) how can you know is the traffic isn't low quality traffic ? maybe 1% of them are interested on your website theme...

I'm affraid that I cannot understant this kind of business / process

The site gets added to either a bot network or a click network. The traffic is useless and you are correct, there are many unhappy webmasters out there who used to have an Adsense account but got banned.

I still don't even understand how we have a Traffic Trade section in these forums. 85% of the deals are crap there.

I agree with the others, most (all?) paid traffic is next to useless for anything but inflating your stats. The money is much better spent on improving your search engine positions for your relevant keywords.

    Tell them you want buyers.

    Everything else is pointless. :D

How do you know if it's crap traffic? That's easy. How are they coming to your site?

    It's low quality if:

    1. They are forced to your sight blindly (hello StumbleUpon advertising).
    2. They are just coming in droves because something of a non-buying nature is attracting them.

If your site sells printer cartridges, then ALL visitors who are not coming there out of interest for printer cartridges are fluff.

There's no quick fix for traffic. Either buy advertising on well-respected sites or get to work.

Adding: If your site isn't selling anything, it's the same concept. Traffic that's not interested in what you're delivering is a waste.
