The way we are brought up socially we focus too much on the external. It is a pseudo-scientific explanation but I have not found a better/more accurate one within any of the annals of science so I put it to you this way: There really are two kind of energies male and female as far as what we are on the sexual level is concerned. So if someone presumes that there is similarity between homo men and women they could not be more wrong. In one case we have feminine energy that seeks other femenine energies and the converse in the male seeking male energies case. It does seem exceptional because intuitively we would imagine that femenine would seek / desire to be always with its male counterpart and vice versa. But perhaps this presumption is misguided by the idea that there are only two kinds of energy. Our idea of male and female being the two sexes is what is wrong. It obviously is. For although biologically people fall into one of two types (on the whole), there may be 8 sexual energies or whatever. In short, I know you were being clever, but you are not a lesbian
