15 trick to make best title for google

    Hi, i'm from russia, from biggest russian seo forum searchengines.ru, yesterday one of the local seo guru said that knows more then 10 rules what can help to make best title for page, but he didn't name them, just picked this smile ;). Can you help me find more then 10 of this tricks?

    - use 3 to 5 words page titles
    - use hiphens (-) in your title to seperate words instead of underscore (_). for example: best-page-title-google

    1. Make your title content closely related to your keywords and page content.
    2. Keep titles short but meaningful, and leave the reader wanting more.

    Here is what I could think of:

    - Have your keyword in the titles
    - Keep the title shorter than 80 characters
    - Do not use special characters
    - Use the keyword as early as possible in the title

    That is an old school trick. Try to put your 3 main keywords.

    I try for four words in the title when I can. Keyword first if possible.

    There are no tricks. There are good ways to optimze a title. Most people have mentioned them already. But the title is only one factor in overall rank. Even the best title won't help if the content is poor.

    this can be extremely hard depending on your niche (we sell cremation urns.. hard to find links with that..)

    don't use special keywords to your title :)
    no other language words use english for better listing :)
