    A linkbait article is a well-written and well-researched article that either informs, humor people, tell an interesting or weird story or say something expertly. It is usually longer than regular article. In fact, there's no specific limit as to how many words a linkbait article should have. If your article is already 1,500 words and you still have something to say, go ahead and write more things down. What's important is you are satisfied with the article's contents and that you are confident that it delivers what it (and you as the writer or owner of the article's byline) tries to say.

    A linkbait article gets dugg fast and is picked up quick by social networking sites. If you know how to market it correctly, it can spread fast like wildfire. It generates traffic like no other articles can do and it gets linked by other sites even without you asking webmasters or blog owners to do so. If your linkbait article is really good, they will even blog about it.

    Linkbait articles almost always come with photos. Something for the reader's senses to process and remember to, a visual feast actually, while he or she chomps down your words.
