$15+ Logo + Twitter Avatar Contest

This is a $15 contest. I do not have a specific ending date and time in mind.

I need two related graphics:

a) A graphic to replace the 325x215 microphone photo on http://tinyurl.com/mk8rxd
b) A 75x75 pixel version suitable for use on Twitter, that also works at 25x25 on Twitter.

I somewhat like the existing 940x125 header banner on the site, but if you have an idea that you think would work for it please post that also. If I use your banner illustration I will pay an additional $10 (total of $25).

And what you want instead of this microphone?

 

I do not know. Something that relates to the idea of news reporters / journalists.

 

Hmmm, not getting too much response to this contest.

 

I can adjust the colors to suit your taste if needed. I just happen to like blue because it's easy on the eyes.

I like it. You've got style.

I'm not sure that the 75x75 will work at 25x25 on Twitter, though. Perhaps the "and" could change to "&"?

Light blue is pretty, but I think that bright red would attract more attention...it's not so easy on the eyes.

Let's see if any other equally creative entries come in.

Here's the 325x215 banner... I thought the newspaper theme would be kinda cool



I had a bit of trouble keeping with the "theme' of that graphic for the twitter logos since it's so detailed, so I decided to just make sure it stands out at 75 and at 25.

Too many late nights, I skimmed over the part where it says you want a 75x75, 25x25 version of that design for Twitter. I'll work on something.

I like them, Trigger Happy Tarantula...very imaginative and keeping with the theme!

I'm not certain which contest entry will work best, they are both good.

Thank you for the submission, adwaitk007. It is good, but for some reason I like the other entries better.

Another person has PM'd me a very good entry, but has not posted it here.

I plan to end the contest and select one entry in about 13 hours.

 

Gottahavestyle, you do have style, haha. Do you still do personal logos? The last one you made for me was quite nice.

OP, are you by any chance going to be running any more contests soon?

Out of fairness to the other contestants, I expect to end this contest a little more than 2 hours from now.

 

I had a difficult time selecting between the entries in this contest...there are some very creative people on DigitalPoint. I finally had to ask a friend for help, a friend whose taste I trust.
