I am working on a site for CHD awareness with a friend, and I wanted to get the logo done through you all because I don't think I could do a good enough job for the cause. The URL is going to be SpreadingCHDAwareness.com as well as the title of course. Tagline will be "Spreading Awareness for Congentital Heart Defects" We are thinking something in pinks and reds, and the image below is a BAD picture of the actual CHD awareness ribbon, so if you could re-create that (should be easy with recoloring another ribbon and adding a little heart) I am thinking a more pastel blue would work rather than the dark blue. As a second image we would love a version of the heart below, as it is also a well known CHD icon. maybe the ribbon on one side and the heart on the other, but please make them 'match' in style if that makes sense.... both should be easy to make, we don't need it 'hand made' you can edit other images to make it work) what I DON'T want: the ribbon and plain text with the title.. be creative with fonts crude designs, I would love this to look beautiful and professional, does not have to be 'web 2.0' but not 'paint 98' either 'un-even' designs, like a 2 inch logo then the text at the bottom, leaving the top right all empty. not like [OO,,,,,,] more like [OOUFUF] lol- hopefully you get what I am saying please make it easy to read, and it is for a blog, so it would be better to have it as a short rectangle than a long rectangle Feedback will be given throughout, and payment will be made by paypal upon announcing the winner. Designers that do not win this contest but have good entries will be on my list to contact for future jobs
love the ribbon, maybe a different font though? and could you also do another icon- maybe some version of this- the heart (not this exact image, but close, know what I mean?) Keep 'em coming!
i like the heart, but maybe out the mended heart on the right of the title and keep the ribbon at the left? I would love to see some other entries for this too, hopefully it isn't too difficult, let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
2ndrit- the text is closer to what we would like- but the ribbon and the heart are not exactly what we are going for. the heart should be better quality and look more like the image I posted (mended heart with a bandaid) and the ribbon needs to have the blue and red as it signifies the blood pumping through the heart. Can't wait to see more!
123kusha- i like it- but would really like to see the heart 'mended' with the crack and the bandaid because thet is the symbol for CHD. and the text is still a bit too plain, would like to see more creative fonts of effects. 2andrit- that is better, maybe a more feminine font though? ((((when I give feedback it is for everyone, not just for the specific image, so everyone gets a better idea of what I would like)
