    According to me, if you or everybody want to test someone logo, just contact the designer and ask the logo you need (transparent or white background) to test it alive on the web. If its look good you can buy it, If doesn't look good just tell the designer, the logo doesn't look good on the web. I think it is OK, when you ask permission to the designer.

    Anyway, thank for your clarification.
