Hi, I'm looking for a logo for a forum that's better than I've come up with - it's not hard to beat http://www.yorkshireforum.net/forums Just need it transparent, not to clash with the grey, a gif and about the same size. The text being a similar blue to the forum. Wouldn't mind, a bit like the vbulletin logo @ http://www.vbulletin.com/ , having a symbol that incorporates 'YF' into it next to the text 'Yorkshire Forum' as well. Really need it ASAP so say 24 hours until it ends but if there's one I like earlier will stop the contest and buy that.
Like that Speno but with Yorkshire Forum being the main bit of the logo and the symbol being smaller and slightly more modern. Cheers for having a go.

Hi, there's a winner. Felt that Onixz100's logo would be the best for the forum as the text and style says local forum without being Times New Roman boring. Plus it was made on a transparent canvas, as requested in the first post and will blend in with the top of the forum rather than the white rectangle with a logo in it like what is there now. Putting the logo on a screenshot, as deanonherb did also helped to see what it'd look like. Cheers for all your efforts and here's some feedback: rital, the logo didn't quite work for me. Liked the writing underneath. ktutorials, nice effort and the logo was transparent but felt for a local forum "normal" text rather than bubble (or whatever it's called) would be more suitable. Plus the colour of the text outline wasn't in keeping with the template. Luk-3, looked at this for a few mins and considered it. If the shape colours were the same colour and the 'YF' and 'Yorkshire Forum' a dark blue and different font, this might have been the winner. deaonherb, this was a close second. The colours and shape of logo 2 were just right. The font didn't seem right for a local forum though and couldn't think of what the star could represent for the forum. Kept thinking about star ratings and 1 star out of 5 is the worst. Loved the BOGOF offer by the way. VietXKosuke, there was a bit too much going on, the font felt wrong and it wasn't transparent so wouldn't have blended in to the top bit of the forum. msdriven79, liked it but it didn't feel right for the forum. If it had been for a different style of site would have jumped at the chance. spartacus, the text was fine but the YF symbol and the .Net didn't seem right. Once again cheers.
