Here's mine, hope it's to your taste. I can replace the words on the right if you provide me with your desired translation.
The op abandoned the contest without bother telling anyone, I had to PM him over the weekend to even find that out; So don't bother posting anymore entries, poor communication and wasted our time and effort.
Well, sorry but there realy is no logo that i like. That's either not how I imagine a "Antique Dessert Paradise" Logo or it is just very bad and cheap design. Sorry, but that's the fact. I will do another Contest for this logo in the weeks ahead. Next time i will put out more money on it. Maybe that's why i only got so bad submissions.
Here's some tips; 1: Be more descriptive with your requirements; If you just give pictures and a few vague words to describe your requirements that will show in in the entries, be as descriptive as you can. 2: Proof read; Proof read your own contest before posting. This will make sure you give designers the correct info, as you failed to do here. 3: More feedback; Give designers regular feedback, else we won't know what works and what doesn't work for you. 4: A thank you never hurts; Instead of telling everyone who doesn't make the cut that their work is poor quality, say thank you for their effort but it's not what you're looking for just now. Bottom line, you don't know how much effort went into a design, to call one poor quality could be hurtful. This way you'll encourage them to come back and try again. 5: Budget accordingly; Budget according to your quality requirements and design detailing. You get what you pay for. I figured I could spend hours sulking over the way you choose to handle this contest but instead I decided it might benefit you and others more by giving you friendly pointers on where you can improve for the future.
I totally agree. It's in bad taste to say that everyone's logos were bad, it's discouraging and hurtful. They could be working really hard, not knowing what you want totally (because only you know when you're satisfied) and putting a lot of research and work into the logos. Or they're not. But either way being a little nicer about logos you hate can only help you. Being specific and expecting to get what you pay for is always good. You could also try Fiverr for a cheap logo, there are some good designers on there who are way underpaid. Or 99 designs for something more expensive but to your specifications.
Well, sorry but just look at the entries on page one of this thread. This realy is bullshit! Not all but most. Those people were just submitting the name of the logo in different fonts. I can do this myself. I was looking for logo designers who come up with ideas on how to create a good logo by applying font effects, background effects, icons and so on. But all i received was the logo name in different fonts from people that think they can cash in quickly by supplying a load of bullshit. So, next time i will set up a more sophisticated contest with a higher price hoping to finaly get some inspiring solutions to my logo needs.
If you want something professional, you should at least be able to write correctly the slogan. wtf is "Wüse"? (Wüste - means dessert in German) It did not look like a serious contest from the beginning. If it is so easy as you said, then why did you even bother to ask for help? You should provide more information next time. Most designers are here mainly for the competition itself and because they like what they do, not for easy money. Those images you gave us for inspiration were not helpful at all.
I think those images i gave for inspiration were very helpful. None of you has deleiverd anything like it.
