Hey, I am the webmaster of http://www.lurcherworld.com And i am getting a decent ammount of clicks on adsense but not making much money from it because the keywords being shown are not high payers.

Is there any way I could get this making more money from adsense!?

    Thanks:D

keep on building traffic and some unique rich content, if your site giving good amount of clicks automatically high paying ads will appear after some time.

CPC fluctuates alot, at least for me. I target the same thing year around and see ranges that you are in up to days where they are far higher.

Just go for more traffic, then the CPC wont matter :)

Yeah, build another site around a different subject. ;)

If you can figure out a way to choose your adsense ads, and it is legal, let me know :D

Your site might be getting hit by "smart pricing" - which results in a lower payment per click. I also see google is only showing one back link for your site. I would suggest getting a lot more backlinks from related sites to increase the rankings (importance of your site in the eyes of google.) I didn't see a meta tag for keywords in your code, and adding this will help google serve ads that are the most relevant to your site.

Your site is also under constuction and has limited content, so it's going to be hard to rank well for any competive (usually higer paying keywords). I would wait until you finish your site and build backlinks to get a better idea of what adsense is going to pay.

Disclosing your earnings per click is against google's TOS, so you might want to remove that from your post since you included your site's url.

My understainding is that you can disclose earnings, you just can't dislose click through rates. Also I believe that Adsense does not take meta tags into account when serving up ads...so this should have no impact that the site doesn't have any meta tags.

If you are looking to alter your ads slightly...you may want to change up your content somewhat...with some focus on dog training or something of that nature...then see if the ads change somewhat...with higher earning per click.

    Just my thoughts.

Find some high(er) paying keywords that are related to the content on your website, and put <b> tags around them. that would probobly be the only way for you to serve higher paying ads.

Another option (if you live in the states) would be to Sign up for the YPN Beta, and hope to god that they accept you :)

I went from $0.10-$0.14 clicks from google to $0.75 - $1.15 clicks with Yahoo.

You can use "site targeting" but keyword meta-tags? I've never seen anyone suggest that they are useful for Adsense targeting.

some have suggested adding content on your site that is a high paying keyword. I personally have not tried that so don't know if it works. Sounds, not right though to me.

That's exactly what you're SUPPOSED to do. Just make sure it is germane to the topic of your site, if it's not, that is what's frowned upon.

Do some research and find the highest paying keyphrase that concerns your topic area. Then add content on that topic and make it keyword-rich (appropriately so, not "stuffed").
    Rinse.
    Repeat.

While that may or may not impact your "Sandbox" staus, at least it may improve your figures in the short term.

Google does not use the meta for SERPS, but it can use it for adsense. Whether or not it is used as a last resort if it cannot find content, I don't know.

the best way to raise your account earnings is
1>either get latest/intresting information for returning users
2>expand the web (start some more with your own new quality)

how ever some tries to keep high keyword content for getting high payments, this works ONLY as long as advertisers are in que for that keyword. i recommend building niche on new subjects can work well ratherthan going for High keywords .
