So sorry for the delay, I am waiting for them to get back to me about which one they want to use - I thought that I would receive a reply yesterday (their Monday). I've resent them an email now to see if they can quickly decide and get back to me asap.

If I don't hear from them, I will choose and pay for a winner tomorrow and if they then decide to go with another graphic, then we will pay that person's graphic too.

Sorry - they are very busy and probably just haven't had time to look through them yet.

Thanks everyone again for taking the time to enter the contest.. :)

I ended up resizing the images to the various profiles to see what it would look like to make it easier to decide since it's hard to judge anything until you actually see them "resized" by the networks.. ie some profiles are 48x48, some 200x200, some 100x100, etc.. so I used a YouTube, Flickr, and Facebook template, then put the images in to compare.

    The winner is: bfg

The reason is the logo still "stood out" no matter what profile size it was.

The entries were good considering we were so restricted with Font, Colour, and Size due to branding..
Sorry to those entries that didn't have a similar font - we couldn't use those ones, even though there were some good ones (I especially liked yours bodil4o), but we can only use something that makes the brand recognizable to their original logo.

Really liked yours too masjacky - but when I resized it down to 48x48, it no longer stood out as much as bfg's but it was my first choice for creativity with the limits we had.

Thanks all again for taking the time to enter our first contest on Digital Point.. :)

Well, if anybody wants to know the name of the font it's on google somewhere, lol. Easy enough to find. Congrats to the winner.

And one more lol is that if you ask US to resize them the quality won't change much...
Otherwise you could have said that you want it with your font.
This is easy to be made...

Anyways - congrats to the winner!

Hiya, I hear ya, I just didn't want to waste anyones time and be too picky getting people to recreate graphics in different sizes, fonts etc when its only a $15 comp used for temporary avatars. Found out after I posted that I actually needed 3 x different sizes for the various profiles. oops! and I didnt have the budget approval to spend more, and the company wasnt getting back to me about which graphic they liked. I thought that most of the profiles would be 200x200 so thats why I asked for it to be that size, but when I went to setup the profiles, I found that some resized them much smaller - I didnt think it would be fair to ask people to redo their graphics and then say that I needed different sizes for the same price (I know it doesnt take long but I just felt badly about wasting everyones time for such a tiny price) so I resized them myself. First time I've ever used this service, but next time, I promise to be much better prepared :)
