Yeah, I built back links for a few EZA articles. I have one from mid June that I used Angela's back links for and now the article has about 3200 views and 1600 click throughs. But, almost all of Angela's back links have disappeared. The only backlinks that are basically left are the ones I didn't spam sites for - like the ones I have from Hub Pages, Weebly, Vox, and other article directories like Article Base, Article Alley, and a few others. I canceled that service after a month. I felt like a scumbag intruding on people's sites like that. There has to be a better, more honest way of building backlinks, I thought. I may end up building a few backlinks for articles that are performing, but mostly I want to build backlinks for my sites. I really think that if I take one site at a time and post at least once a day to that site, and get at least 15 articles published on EZA with 2 quality backlinks coming back to my site, I'll be in a real good position in a few months. My goal is 1000 page views on my ridiculous site each day. That's all I'm focusing on right now. I want to use sites with a high PR and good Alexa traffic to launch other sites. To me, that strategy seems sensible and long term. And it's all done without spamming other people's sites for backlinks. There's no value in that.
Here's what you should maybe consider. Every article you write, re-write the 1st paragraph then start making it a page on your site for SEO purpose, then submit that URL with the article on your site to social bookmarking sites. You'll not only have your article on EZA, but now you'll have an alteration of it as your own page. It's like growing your site by 15 pages a day, and google loves fresh content.
