$15 a day possible?

What does it take for a site like this to make about $15 a day. Right now the forum is dead, but should get going soon. I think the rest of the site is preety good. All opinions are welcome..Will it be tough to make $15 a day on this kind of site..Me and my friend have been working hard, trying to get this place started, and just wondering..Thanks

I'd say put the ads inside the content, not on top of the page. So put a 160x600 ad in the nav bar and some other ads within the content of the pages. The rest depends on how many visitors you end up getting good luck!

some more content i guess, not only those video and some pictures and also some adsense ads. I read the ads on your site and they did not convince me that is worth to check their website. The adsense ads are in my opinion better designed.

 

That's the problem then, advertise more.

 

Try websites directory submission and SEO and better ad placement . That could help .

 

Yeah, will overflowing the blog with content hurt it at all..Not like postwhoring, but putting up to much stuff at one time..I have some more videos I want to put up, but dont want to make it seem all trashy..

There is no secrets on how to make $15 a day. You have to have traffic...without traffic to your site you will not make much. Once you get a lot of traffic you can start testing adsense placements and see what spots get you more clicks. With a forum its much harder to make money with adsense.

 

But is 15 a reasonable goal with the kind of site, or is it real far fetched.

 

I just looked at the site and... guess what ? I can't find the ads, lol!!! I wanted to click but didn't find any ads. That means you have a big problem. Put them between posts and to the menu on the left side , and probably in top of the page too.

P.S. Sure I search for them badly on my second visit and discover them on the bottom of the page.

Amit Agarwaal of Labnol Blog, ones revealed in his blog about his earnings, When I viewed that,Hooo..I cant even stand in my foot, He makes 1K$$$ from adsense a DAY, But I know there are many ppl making more than that, Work hard in a systematic way, you will also achieve the same.

forums are notoriously poor converters but if you place ads between postings i've heard that may well help your ctr...the rest of the site looks good

 

Revenue from Adsense relys on two things; Ad placements, and traffic! That really is it, test out different positions for your ads like suggested above. I own PureFTA (see sig), and after moving the ads several times, we now earn a fair bit more than $15/daily.
