Look at About.com. OK, it might be a corporate site (now owned by New York Times Company) but they make millions a year from adsense. They do have huge expenses though, but they still make millions in profit each year, although it must be streesed adsense only makes up around half their total revenue.
I guess all those sites had to start somewhere, just shows if you're willing to go the extra mile you could earn some descent money
i saw the video. she recommends much ads on a certain page. Is that any good though? I was told it is not so good to clutter your pages with adsense ads or any type of ads. I guess because the payout is reduced or something. i am not really sure...
This is very true. If you have a good idea for a site, stick with it and keep marketing it and adding content. You'll see your traffic and profits increase over time, it's just a matter of hanging in there for the long haul
