I'm thinking FaceBooks aime were: - attract lots of high paying big advertisers interesting in branding (like the type of ads you see on the Yahoo homepage). - Use the flyer ads for more personalized ads to very specific demographics - for example advertising a local event to a certain age group. I'm just guessing - but that would make sense why they are so anti-affiliates.
They'll come around at some point, what they don't realize is that many merchants, outsource their advertising and the risk involved to affiliates.
Yup. I'm considering setting up a pay-per-site program, where you give your affiliate program URL to me, and it auto-generates a clone that looks like a first level store, not an affiliate setup. Not search engine indexable, so no dupe content problems. I just have to find the time.
