Hey guys. Ever since I was 12 I've been doing things online to make money for myself and my family. Autosurfing worked for a while back in the days of 12dailypro, Treasure Trooper + Cash Lagoon brings in a couple hundred a month, as does eBay selling. But the other day I read a little about making money with AdWords, and I thought that it sounded really interesting. I was just wondering if you guys have any advice for someone just starting out. The things I have picked up from reading around so far are: it isn't as easy as marketing "guru's" make it sound it will require some time every day it is extremely competitive My friend went to this trade show and got me a $50 dollar voucher, so I now have $50 in my AdWords account. Will that be enough to start out and begin to learn the ropes with? He also gave me a copy of Google Profits and Google Cash 2005 edition, which I have also learned a little bit more from. I really want to make this work for myself, and I am willing to do whatever it takes. Thanks in advance for your suggestions! =]
you'll need a bigger bank to play with adwords, especially if you are going to do affliate marketing. Mind if I ask how you started at age 12? Most programs you have to be over 18 and have a valid credit card. Anyways good luck on your adwords adventure! I'm a newbie myself haha.
Oh okay. Thanks for the advice! I started those programs using prepaid credit cards from Walgreen's. Haha.
Sweet. Yah I'm just going to see what I can do with $50, and then add more as I go along. I'm sure I will be able to learn something. Wish me luck guys.
you dont need to be over 18, and even if you do, no one could ever find out so it would be fine. Other than that, adwords takes a huge amount of practise, and thats it. get a good product to sell, something that you would buy yourself
Have you posted in the affiliate programs (clickbank) section ? You may find a lot of affiliate marketers there that can help you.
In the US a contract is legally binding with anyone 18 and over. Than if not it falls on the parents shoulders.
Yes in the US you may get a prepaid Credit Card for your children under the age of 18. But when it comes to buying certain items etc. Since the child is under 18 and legally can not be bound by contracts. Than the people responsible for the child will have to to take care of legal matters: IE lawyers, if the child violates the law than the parents have to fork out. So what is there not to understand?
Oh okay I gotcha. Thanks for clarifying that. Can anyone think of any possible scenario's where I could violate the law by promoting ClickBank products via AdWords? Just so I know what to watch out for. Thanks guys.
You might want to stay away from any of the psp, movie, ipod download sites. Although, I think adwords disallow ads on them now. Many of these download sites are considered illegal. Some people got in trouble with anti-spyware programs downloads too, because when visitors ran the "free scan" they (the visitors) were told they had numerous virus' and/or adware programs on their computers that were Not really there and told they needed the spyware program to "clean up" their computer (which is fraud). There are some good products in Clickbank. You just gotta find them. Good luck!
Thank you! I will continue reading around here on the forums and doing more research before I start running any ads. I really appreciate the support you guys have given me so far.
Oh man I remember 12dailypro... I was going good for like a week and then WHAM all my money is gone... Damn them!
