Muzaffarabad, October 20, 2006: The dead body of Dr. Mehaboob, the missionary of At Anycost Jesus Mission in Pakistan found in Neelum river on October 18. He was 42 years of age. Two of his children Shalom and Sharon were brutally murdered and the dead bodies were burnt on 1st of September.

His wife Paulin Mehabooba (37 years old) and the youngest daughters Sherin (11 years old) and Shelvin (7 years old) are still missing.

Dr. Mehaboob was a Muslim. He was born in Bahawalpur in Pakistan. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour while he was studying. He married a christian girl named Paulin about 17 years ago. His conversion and marriage created problems. They would have been killed by his relatives. But they escaped and lived in Peshawar for few years. They started proclaiming the Gospel there. Many people accepted Jesus. And they were attacked and their first boy child (who was eldor to Shalom) was murdered on his 7 years of age. So they left Peshawar and came to Muzaffarabad. And continued their ministry in between Muzaffarabad and Baltit.

At Anycost Jesus Mission started on 1st of January, 2000 as a millenium project for the underground evangelisation of the Muslim nations. Dr. Mehaboob is one of the founders of the Mission. There are 78 underground missionaries serving in different nations to reach the Gospel to the Muslims, in which eight are from Pakistan.

The militants asked Dr. Mehaboob family to stop missionary activites and convert back to Islam with the believers. They offered a big amount to convert back to Islam and join with their group. They very much appreciated the way of the underground ministry Dr.Mehaboob and the team doing. They wanted to utilise his efforts and talents to fight against christianity. Dr. Mehaboob and family totally refused them and boldly said that Christ is our Saviour and we will stand behind His shadow till the last breath of our life. He was beaten several times. Around 15 to 20 people kidnapped the boy Shalom on 8th of August. They forcely and roughly circumcised him. They used iron weights and rusty knives for the circumcision. Then they left the boy back home. He became sick, suffered too much pain, pus came out from penis and could not urinate for two or three days. The militants gave the warning it was only an advance. Dr. Mehaboob approched the Police to file a case. But the police did not register a case, and said that they would be charged against Mehaboob for attempting murder to his son. All the believers gathered in his house everyday and prayed. It made the militants angry.

On 21st of August, the whole family of Dr. Mehaboob was kidnapped. Believers were beaten severly whenever they try to join for prayers. The police was supporting the militants.

The militants raped the girls in front of the parents. Sharon, the older girl rebuked, so they cut one of her breasts. Both Shalom and Sharon were killed. The militants left the dead bodies in a ditch alongwith a motorbyke, poured the petrol and burnt them. The police said those are unidentified dead bodies. And made a false statement that it was an accident and the petrol tank of the byke was opened while they were fallen into the ditch and burnt by a spark.

Since then there was no news about Mehaboob, wife and remaining two girls. It was informed to the related authorities of the government.

Guys I didnt get to read the posts, but the Koran does state that a Muslim who converts to Christianity or any other religion should be killed, as he shouldn't ''miss the truth'' after hes seen it. If thats the case of the boy, then he according to the Koran deserves his death.

I think theyll be searching for me soon, cause I am converting to atheism. None of the religions provide solid answers.

Thats the hard copy of Islam, which is definitely dangerous. Only a few Muslims, however, do believe in these things. Anybody who completely follows a religion is dangerous. Thats my opinion.

 

As long as you are in Europe you should be save. It's not a crime to believe what you want here.
But don't have the vaccuum created by atheism be filled with dirty things.
Seek, search and find.

It's there and its up to you. Nobody can make the decision for you. Ask people to pray for you and pray yourself. You will get answers by the Holy Spirit for sure when you pray in the name of Jesus. Don't look or listen to people, when it comes to the truth, its a deal between you and God only.

I think God is chasing you. Don't resist him.

 

Andie, Atheism can certainly be filled with dirty things, and that is why I am struggling to find a religion that can answer all my questions.

God is not chasing me, I am chasing him. Although it looks unlikely, I hope that I oneday find solid answers and spend the rest of my life feeling better about why we are here and what will happen, if anything at all, after death.

Four family members shot dead by militants in Indian Kashmir: police

India - Suspected militants shot dead four members of a Muslim family in restive Indian Kashmir Sunday for refusing to allow the clan's teenage daughter to wed a rebel, police said.
Three women and one man died in the attack in Manglogi village in Ramband district, 200 kilometers (125 miles) northeast of Kashmir's winter capital Jammu.
"The family refused to marry off their 15-year-old daughter and they slaughtered the whole family," district police superintendent Basant Rath told AFP.
Militants had killed the teenage girl in August after her father spurned a marriage offer from a rebel, Rath said.
The girl's parents, an older sister and a cousin were killed in the attack early Sunday.
In a separate incident Sunday, police acting on a tip-off killed two Pakistani men believed to be members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba rebel group as they hid in a house in Doda district, 240 kilometers northeast of Jammu.
"They were trapped in their hide-out and they were killed and arms and ammunition were taken from them," said Doda police superintendent Manohar Singh.
"Documents recovered from their possession reveal that they are from Pakistan and they were active for the last few months in Doda."
India accuses Pakistan of arming, training and sending Islamic militants into Indian Kashmir to bolster a Muslim insurgency. Islamabad denies the charge.
More than 44,000 people have died from violence in Kashmir since a rebellion against Indian rule erupted in 1989, according to Indian records. Separatists say the toll is more than double that figure.

 

You mean to say this is not done by few of wrong Muslims..this is done all Islam....All Muslims...Due to few wrong peoples you cant give its credit to all Relegion and its followers..

 

The "all card" isn't very effective here. There have been numerous beheadings since this one. Probably just a *misunderstanding* or *misinterpretation* of the quran, yet again

And to think, with all that *could* have been said about the incident, you seem most concerned not with the actual beheading, but that muslims did it (again) and not to label "all" muslims as such, which no one did in the first place.

 

This is not a isolated incident , you will find thousands of them. They have not spared even Shia's or Ahmedias , what should others expect.

Everyday there are reports of just these type of atrocities, and not even the children are spared. I just finished reading another article where someone was trying to convince people that islam is a religion of peace. Who are they trying to convince? I'm certainly NOT convinced. How about anyone else here? They are a vicious, murderous, fascist people. Anyone who can brutally murder a child by sawing it's head of with a knife, or any other way, isn't peaceful....they are a monster. Just look for yourself.

The Koran like the Bible is open to interpretation. Its the radicals that create their own interpretation to suit their own extremist ideals.. Notice is said extremist as there are muslim as well as christian and jewish extremists, just as their are christian, muslim and jewish moderates who wish for peace.

There is no need to attribute this to Islam. Yes, there will be morons committing acts of insane evil such as this (if indeed it is true), but, on the whole, Muslims are peaceful people just like people of other religions.

 

Absolutely they probably did this (If it happened as you stated) because they were Jews, Christians or something else?......
