Well women dont reach sexual maturity until their twenties, I mean physically, like their body doesn't finish developing until their twenties. Women are ment to be mentally 2 years older anyway but still, aslong as the guy is practising a 'look but dont touch' aspect he might get away with not being classed as a paedophile... still it's abit disconcerting that he'd want to go out with a 14 year old, cant he find girls his own age? 0_o
It's strange how 14 to 19 is such a nasty gap where as 19 to 24 you almost wouldn't think twice about. Assuming they're not rooting, they could have a normal relationship.
Because 19 to 24's are above the age of consent and it isnt illegal in most parts of the world Thats if it is love and he isnt manipulating her, dont forget she is basically still a young child.
but imagine when they do continue seeing each other for 20 years.. she would be 34 and the guy would be 39. hehehe.. so i guess at start its kinda not so good..
Totally depends on a ton of things. I have seen those sort of relationships. If the demeanor of the guy is not creepy or manipulative and he knows his limits I dont see the problem. Just because they are seeing each other, and just because the first thing you associate with a relationship is sex (unfortunately), it doesnt mean they are actually bumping dirties. Still, a great percentage of youths value their bodies. Plus, in four years, she is 18. She could go and marry a 40 year old man. Someone who was done with high school when she was born. Just because she is at the point when when modern society has decided to allow her to make adult decisions. Without transition, like a light switch of responsibity.
South Carolina is the ONLY state that it would be legal for them to engage in consensual intercourse of any type. Says NOTHING about dating in any law I know of.
And the point of starting this thread was? We all know this thread is going to go on and on forever about this but just face it nobody will do anything about it until that girl pops up and says he raped her which there is nothing the guy will be able to do about it because the legal system is royally ****ed up! This thread is just a waste of space, most of us know it is wrong and we all know its sick but now a days nobody cares enough to do anything about it so unless you are going to rat them out and save him the stress in the future then suck it up and forget about it. Surf the internet and you will find much more disturbing things then this, there are kids in many parts of the world that are having babies at the age of 11. Do you see people posting threads about this? NO! Please next time you are going to start a thread about this sort of thing, at least make it interesting! Remember we all like a good comedy some time or another.
