Sunaina - thanks, this is my first time and I'm learning...from now on I will put the person's name with comments.

rtek - I like the creativity but unfortunately not the look I"m going for...

hanx - too dark and don't like the hand graphic. It looks too gothic overall for a business book.

DesignWorld_87 - remove the Twitter bird altogether. The last design is my favorite but the text is too multi-colored and prominent. Please make the main emphasis be on the title: "I Need a Killer Press Release" and the "Now What" part small and less emphasized. The next most important part is the "A Guide to Online PR." Also, you can just put the name without the word "author" at the bottom. Your first design does best with the title but the "Now What" could be less emphasized (make it a lighter shade, etc). paladin884 - thanks for your entry but it's not quite what I'm looking for...I feel like killer makes it look like I'm trying to kill someone - it needs to be more a business-oriented look.

 

redeemer - I like the bottom one best with the computer screen showing the guy getting press.

AliR - Not quite what I'm looking for but the microphones idea isn't bad.

RaZzYeL - remove "killer press release" from the top. Put the "A Guide to Online PR on the sign"

bdaa - you get points for being creative but not the look I'm going for...it needs to have a more business look.

RaZzYeL - I like the 2nd one best but without the first mention of "A Guide to Online PR" - just have it on the sign the guy is holding. My only concern is that my eye is drawn to the red megaphone - it looks good but the title is more important than the megaphone...just a thought.
