14 days to post a request to buy?

It seems it's 14 days before a new member can post a request for sites to buy. I can understand the need for some caution but 14 days seems a bit tough, is it really necessary, especially for buying?

(Well that's got the 25 posts out of the way lol).

 

I think we should have a special exception in your case because of your fab avatar!
On a serious note we can usually tell who the spammers and troublemakers are within 14 days, so this rule is a handy safeguard.
