Every click on every ad will give a different amount. $1+ clicks are rare, but there are some keywords which will attract such ads. Chances are the ads that were clicked weren't bidding that much which means your share of the revenue wasn't alot.
A long time ago, I have gotten 3 clicks for 1 cent. I did not how that was possible. $0.52 for 14 clicks would surprise to me. The kind of site you have will dictate the CPC you got.
One of the reason could possible be your niche. It might be a low-paying keyword. Another reason could be smart-pricing.

Well I think you should check some sites which are offering Top Paying keywords for Google Adsense list and you should work on those keywords. It also depends on your traffic as if Indian people visiting your site then they have less chance to hit high paying keywords. It's not really that low, it depends on your niche. High clicks are a rare commodity, so don't go expecting $52 from 14 clicks.
You should post your URL here, and by the way it depends on niche that how much click rate do you get... try to use high paying keywords in your content.

Well, at least you got that far. I am still trying to figure out how to post on DP with a new thread. I have some ideas floating around my head that I wanted to get out there but have no idea how to post and how this is going to be financially profitable to me.
