14 click equals 10 cents, how is that?

OK today on one of my sites pages I had 14 clicks for a grand total of 10 cents. That is less than a penny a click. How can that be?

Ok your not allowed to show your page ctr or eCPM so quick, edit them out of the image.

google may have thought them to have been fraudulent clicks so some of them didn't count.

    Invalid Clicks.

Also, Read the TOS. If you did, you'd know you're not allowed to show stats.

Thanks guys for letting me know. I removed the image.

"Invalid clicks". Is that from one person clicking on my ads 14 times?

Not necessarily. No one knows exactly how AdSense classifies invalid clicks, but lets say two people clicked your ads 5 times each... they might have considered some clicks invalid. We do know it happens 100% since AdSense does say some clicks might be classified as invalid clicks, but no one knows exactly what an invalid click is.

Some of the clicks may have been on Public Service Ads. These appear on sites for no particular reason occasionally and don't pay when they're clicked.
Check to see if any of your pages have PSAs served to them. Sometimes it's just a short term temporary thing.

Nice thought, but I am pretty sure that particular ad zone is set to serve blanks instead of PSAs if no ads are available.

The Invalid clicks thing makes me think now. I have seen a major drop in my earning over the last month while the amount of clicks has remained around the same. I had initially thought this was probably because of Smart Pricing, but maybe this is because my account is being monitored more now for "invalid clicks"? I never click on my own ads, but does G become suspicious of sites clicks and starts monitoring them more closely?

Unless you have invalid clicks, this is terrible.

    I got $7.37 for 11 clicks yesterday...

Yeah I totally agree that is TERRIBLE! Up until about a month ago I was getting impressive numbers on the clicks. Now I am getting just pennies per click. I don't know what gives...

$7.37 for ten clicks is bad ass. When clicks drop off dramatically, it might be smart pricing. To get a real picture though, you have to run with it for a while. One thing I found that works is rotating ads on the site. That way you get some of your return traffic to click since it looks new.

Looking at the numbers today they are about the same. Pennies per click, if they are indeed valid clicks.

What do your usual stats look like? is it a sharp drop on one single day and the rest of the days are better? You can't really compare with other people though, unless you know what topic they're working on.
