This is a fan site for an online PC game called RFO. The website is about 2-3 years old and began when the beta version of the game came out. The fan site has a forum, database which stores information on game content – creatures, weapons, armor, magic, crafting, maps, skills and much more. The database is full of useful guides created by the forum members for beginners of the game and those who come from other online games such as World of Warcraft.

Forum Details:
This is a fairly large forum that has 7,960 members, 21,222 posts and 2,837 threads.

What’s for Sale:
With the sale you will get the fan website and all its content, including the forum and databases. I will also include the remainder of hosting service plan with hostgator.com that will expire in June 2007 and the domain name of the website which will expire in March 2007. I will also provide key contacts that provide regular news who are actually working for the games publishing company. When will you set up BIN price

 

I am setting the BIN for this site at $1,800.

I'm reducing the BIN on this site to $1,500.

I currently have someone interested at $1,150 but would like to hold off to see if somone would like to purchase the wite for $1,500.

 

How much maintenance is required for this site? are you an integral part of the community? will it work just as well without you? are there moderators?

 

I'm not an integral part of the community, infact the community is self-sustaining.

They really come back to chat about what is happening in the game, boast about their online characters and look up information from the databases.

At the moment there are no moderators, however if you wanted, you could get somone who is active on the forums to become one.

The database themselves don't need to be updated frequently, only when they update the games' inventory which is probably every 6 months or so.

Since I'm not very active on the site up front the site will continue without me.

I even have some ideas on improving the site which I can share with the person who is going to purchase the site. I just absolutely no time to implement any of these ideas any more. I hardly have time to track this auction.

Yes, VBulletin liscense and all content will be the ownership of the one buying the site. You also have the option to upgrade to the latest VBulletin as well, which I haven't yet.
