I first got into the internet when I was about 9 i'm now 21 Kids nowadays are being brought up on it theres not much some of them wont be able to do..
I'm 15 and I'm averaging $20-$30 a day. Pretty slick! I've owned many forums and I consider myself professional. I also have English as my first language which is a great advantage when online. I do agree that kids are underestimated but I wouldn't even consider myself a kid, but a young entrepreneur.
I getting a little old now, but I started all this web designing stuff when I was 19. OK, maybe I were older than a kid, but I wish I had started all this well before 19. Where would I be today if I started years earlier.
now i am 27 age , before 13 years back i have started gold wholesale business with my uncle when i was 14 with 3 year i have made this money yes there have some great idea with jewllery designs in india , now i know google adsense is better than gold becouse now im 3 month left making $1000 a month ...hope will get more
Gee - if I had been into the internet even 8 years ago I would be happy! Just one or two of the .com's I could have owned!!! Anyway. I just wanted to drop in and say a huge congrats to you younger internet marketers. Nice work!
I have been 15 for only a few days, when I was 8 I discovered windows, when I was 10 I co owned a hosting company, when I was 12 I was sitting on 4 dedicated servers with 1.5K PM. I am now 15 developing a gaming tournament site that is growing rapidly. I have been told I am 25+ due to my grammar and how intelligent I am... I just wish I could tell them I was 15 that way people will stop underestimating us kids.
I feel exactly the way you feel. I think we are too underestimated. I can't say I've done as much as you but I have done a lot and made a lot of money off of it too.
I think it is great that young people can make money on the Internet. Beats the hell out of mowing yards.
The problem is not selling drugs and mugging people where I live, it's the part where every kid takes drugs and adults mug them.
Times have changed. Are the same kids we are talking about here able to make money if we put computer, internet and basicaly all technology aside? I was 12 in 1977. I made $250/week selling comics books that I got ...for free. I had to move my a** out hard to get that. I couldn't get one of the first TRS-80 out there at $12k a piece(1981)... But there are 4 laptops in my home today and my daughter has difficulties to choose which one she'll use to sell her servers parts on Ebay, making $3,000/month ( but she's older though...she's 16y/o).... Today, with the internet, I'm back home, I power on my laptop, I click twice on a button and I always get somebody ready to pay $5-$10 for something I get on my computer... There are billions of ways for a kid today to make some money, there were 3 or 4 ways back then, and it was not by sitting on a chair with some chips and a Coke...
