13-07-2006 PR update

Nothing unusual reported here. Most of my new sites get PR and sub-pages also get a PR a notch lower.

 

nop, my inner pages are up up up up up. hehe

from 0 to 3,4 and from 3 to 4

 

I lost PR (from 3 to 0) on only 1 of my inner pages. That page is one of my better ranking pages. All white hat.

Recently added pages went to PR 4. Homepage stayed the same.

 

I think that is also a correction of some type. I had 1720 backlinks, it went to 509, and then to 173. This update I got exactly 500. I felt I was getting screwed with the 173, even though Google only shows a sample of links, that was way too low a percentage from everything else I have seen.

 

i opened a web site www.turkcebilgi.net . and one pr 6 site and 3 pr 5 site was giving link

that was pr 0 before pr update
it has pr 0, now

 

my site isn't a doorway and isn't cloaking, basically its our server and yes periodically if you login you get blandyuk.co.uk.

Its well confused me, glad im not alone rage...

mind you wish I knew what to do pr5 t0 0 must be some kind of a record.

Does anyone have any tips on current trends then?

maybe you have lost your back links???

coz one of my site is also dropped from PR3 to PR0 due to lose of back links!

 

One of mine has just gone from 0 to 5. I'm happy

 

One of my sites went from pr 5 80 backlinks to pr 3 and 1 backlink - which is wierd

 

This PR update is stranger than the last one - I hope we will see some corrections soon

 

Have you guys only just updated? I.e. on the 16th July? Or did it just take you a while to realise there was an update?

 

Well so far none of my established sites updated. I have two new sites and only one of them got some PR. Ah well...

 

Well I wonder when will be there any updates on established sites.I haven't seen any major changes on our established sites.

My new site got PR5 while all subpages are PR0, which is stranged. i guess they havent finished the update.

 

Yes it has been updated for all the new PR0 pages and not for the old ones. I mean I did not see any PR change on any of my old websites already having some PR. But all the new pages added have got good PR starting from PR5 to PR2.

 

really wierd. I lost all backlinks and went to PR0!?!? I know there are IBLs out there - a lot of them in fact. I'm hoping this will correct itself in the morning. At least I don't sell any links . Not that PR matters much in my mind, but it's a blow to the ego to go to my own site and see a big fat white bar in my browser.

OK- this is really wierd. Google has my index page cached as a page that I had up for maybe two weeks when I first registered the domain. They must have reverted the index somehow at the data center my browser happens to be using. I'm sure it won't last long... uh. I hope it won't last long .

 

I had 74 backlinks which were being shown by google previously but now it only shows 50 when all of the previous links are still in tact. I was expecting 150+ because I had bought permanent links from many relevant sites and directories but no luck with that

My site came on top though during the last few days which has PR 3 for the last 16 months now with so many backlinks on MSN and Yahoo

I am not going to bother about PR anymore but that GREEN line on our browsers. It is very catchy

 

That's right!
PR is determined by site linking to your site.So if you lost backlink you will surely loose your PR.

i checked my pr for this site: myspaceproxy1.com here: http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ but nothing has changed. But when i use the apgerank prediciton tol fromiwebtols, i heta pr4 predicted, with about 400 backlinks ...
wil this still update for me or not ?

This PR update seemed to focus on updating PR for pages that previously didn't have PR. I have a mass number of pages with PR +1/2 higher than my main page at the moment.
