    I’ve been taking a look at my sites and noticed that my Portuguese Blog directory also went from PR 0 to PR 4 which is great. The only problem is that my wife’s blog dropped from PR4 to PR2 “she’s going to be pissed”.

    Have you submitted a sitemap? If not and you have a lot of outgoing links on your homepage then the spiders may be leaving your site before getting a chance to index the site :(

    and by the way... only new site are getting PR no change in old one (old once are only dropping )

    Since I am a newb to this would anyone be so kind to answer the following for me?

    How longs does the update take?
    How can we tell if its done?

    I am showing a page rank of going from 0 to 2, and I thought it would be higher.:confused: Also through various reporting sites, I am getting 450+ backlinks... Why would the google update show just 5. It had 0 before.

    You can check it the new PR has spread to all the data centres. If it has and is stable for some time this means that its done :)

    This one seems to be a decent update :) Got a Strong PR 5 for my site Digital Web Solutions
    with all its pages PR 5
    And many new sites have PR 4's :)
