$125 home page design contest

Hi,

I want a nice design for a new site selling natural memorial stones.

What there is of the site so far is memorial-stone.co.uk

As you will see the emphasis of the site is to attract owners of natural burial sites to use the natural memorial stones at the graves etc.

The design needs a logo / logo header

The design needs to be serene

If you want to include any of the images that are on the site within your design feel free to contact me for originals.

Sorry this does not give much to go on - feel free to ask anything that is not clear. I need you all to inspire me!

I don't know how long the contest will run for - I'll see how much interest there is.

I'm in... but having a deadline is necessary - it even encourages people to join quickly, plus, I need to know how much time there is.

 

yeah, but most CH, doesn't follow that, I am dissappointed with it...

 

i might join this if you dont allow private entries and post all entries in the thread. i totally hate private contest. im sure many designers will join if you do that

No private entries please. I'd prefer to have all entries posted in this thread too rather than at some image hosting site.

memorial-stone.co.uk is the site that the template will be used on. The text content will be slightly different but probably the same sort of amount.

Obviously the use of images of the memorials is important but I leave it to you lot to dazzle me with how you want to display them.

I look forward to your quality entries. I will try and give as much honest feedback as I can during the contest.

Hi, thanks for the interest so far. I want to see some more before I start giving feedback.

I have got to extend the contest - I am now not going to be about on Saturday to close the comp so it will close at 10pm Monday evening (GMT)

 

I hadn't started because I didn't know the formal deadline - see why it's important?

 

I don't see why it's that important. If you're going to enter you're going to enter, right?

 

The problem is not whether I'm going to enter or not - but when. I have other things to do, so I have to update my schedule with the deadline so I can work on it before the contest is over. Without a deadline, I can just put it off indefinitely, later to find out the CH says deadline is in a day and I don't have the time to work on it.
