1200 + page impressions and only 6 clicks

I am a newbie to adsense and this is my statistics in first couple of days. It is much lower than what i expected.

I am trying to improve the statistics and i would like suggestions for that. Please visit my site http://www.moviewood.net and give your suggestions to improve the number of clicks.

i cannot see any ad on your home page, well try to increase your ad placement ... This is the only effort you can do to increase your number of clicks.
don't worry about the clicks it comes with the traffic..

 

visitors will click your ads when they see something they like.have patience and the clicks will come

 

Well, patience is key with making money online. You might want to try re-arranging your ad blocks if you feel like you're not getting enough clicks.

 

If your getting that amount of traffic then you shouls be able to do some testing. Try some differnet placments and title colors and let us know if that helps.

i have a high traffic site i just build, and i decided to go ahead and place ads on it, so i created channels for each page and spot, for example the homepage gets a lot of traffic, but HORRIBLE CTR (Click Trough Rate), then my Article pages get low traffic amount, but a very high CPR and HIGH CPR = Higher CMP = More Money per click!

So create some channels for each spot, and each page, and experiment, in the end its all trial and error!

Also, do not place ads where nobody will see them / click on them, it is important to keep your eCPM as high as possible so you get payed well per click!

You site is good but no adsense ads on homepage at all. Put at least a banner to get page impression earning from adsense.

 

Also you could try replacing one of your squares like previews etc with a adsense piece

Great site with good number of traffic. But there's a huge problem here, your ads Put more ads and put them into a place where it will attract clicks.

 

What is the main source of traffic? Most visitors from social networking sites will not click on the ads, and you must not ask your friends to click on the ads.
Wait for the traffic from search engines to pick up.
