For some reason I do not get much visitors from stumbledupon

 

is stumbledupon really good for traffic ? I've not joined it !

 

Well SU works good for latest technologies and tech articles as I have seen it till now. Atleast it will fetch u some visitors for sure..

 

I know it would be great to know who stumbles your page , just for resource reasons

 

Dec 2009 my average daily SU was some 100+
SU traffic changes depending on season / day of week, etc

never predictable but always some traffic = ONE of many different organic traffic sources
On my site I have approximately 40% traffic from SE = 60% organic traffic from NON-SE sources

I love that independence from major SE! It shows that there are real alternatives to SE - but G still is main source among the 40% SE traffic of course.

On some special occasion days SU brings up to nearly 1000 uv/d - other days just some 40 or so
a guess - may be - just may be when ppl are bored and just have some time to kill in the office or at home, they do more SU and when time is critical they may do more SE

 

yeah but I think they dont provide any api for that... actually its good in a sense else people will start forming group there and stumble each others post even though its not ethical... so no issues with that... its a free bonus as far as I consider

 

can someone please tell me how to submit posts to stumbleupon?

that's the easiest and fastest way to submit to SU

 

It has to do with your content i guess, probably a lot of readers find it very interesting.

 

I've seen where people get tens of thousands a day from stumble
